On Thursday, April 17, 2014, St. Bernard Parish hospital held a blood drive sponsored by The Blood Center.  Many employees took the time to donate blood as they understand that their contribution is important to maintaining a reliable blood supply. St. Bernard Parish Hospital has supplied patients with nearly 75 pints of blood since its opening in 2012.

Tailgating For a Cure!

On Saturday, April 12, 2014, together with other businesses in our community, St. Bernard Parish Hospital’s Relay for Life team, helped raise $53,529.81 for the American Cancer Society!  The event was held at Archbishop Hannan Complex from 2:00 p.m. until midnight.  The hospital’s team sold hot dogs, fresh popcorn, and also offered face painting for the cause.  There were many fun activities for the families that attended as well as food, drinks, and live music!  
On Friday, April 4, 2014,  St. Bernard Parish Hospital employees volunteered their time to support United Way in their “Day of Caring.”  This event was hosted at the Arc of St. Bernard and The St. Bernard Battered Women’s Program.
